We are two joyful, experienced and ambitious illustrators with the biggest eagerness to spread joy. Everything we do is built on our foundation of valued friendship, and our matched burning passion for illustration.
Aelia Event Illustration came to us in 2023 through a funny spell of fate, luck and coincidence. Ella had always had an interest in live sketching at weddings - with illustrations dating back to 2020. But it was never anything she pushed due to nerves of doing at it alone, and feeling at a loss of where to even start. So when Alexia’s neighbour mentioned having an illustrator at her wedding, the stars seemed to align. Our journey properly began in 2024 with our first wedding booking. So, this is only the beginning…
This business is something we have put our heart and soul into. Our brand is built with so much love, and our ambitions are sky high. It’s so exciting to have every single one of you on this journey with us, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for Aelia Event Illustration.

Hey everyone - I'm Ella. Alongside illustrating your lovely faces at events, I handle most of the communications and brand identity here at Aelia Event Illustration!
I have a separate solo illustration business called EllaVee Illustrations where I share my love for Children's book illustration. Go check it out if you have some time!
Alexia Richardson
Hi - my names Alexia! As well as illustrating you all, I also handle our social media platform and content creation.
